Via weighing sensors, the intelligent system continuously determines the exact demand for material. It then delivers this information independently to the C-parts supplier’s inventory management system via encrypted interfaces. There, the system automatically triggers the subsequent order and subsequent delivery, including invoicing.
24 hours a day, seven days a week, the iSCALE system determines the material requirements at various locations in the industrial environment.
iSCALE does not require a gateway or local W-LAN. An integrated radio module transmits the digital signal to Würth Industrie Service via NB-IoT.
Effective industrial measurement technology: The smart scale is directly connected to the Kanban container and can be moved autonomously. Conceived for all Würth Industrie Service containers manufactured according to VDA standards, designed for use in industrial environments.

iSCALE operates without a local power supply. The integrated battery enables reliable use for up to five years.
The Kanban containers equipped with an IoT scale transmit the measured values directly to the Würth Industrie Service merchandise management system.
The iSCALE IoT scale system is specially designed for Kanban container sizes 3215, 4115 and 4315. The iSCALEpal pallet scale complements this range with all common Euro pallets.
Each Kanban container can be equipped with its own scale, alternatively the pallet scale can be equipped with Kanban boxes. iSCALEpal then weighs the contents of the boxes placed on it and transmits them continuously to the system.

The iSCALE IoT scale system offers all the significant advantages of digitalized warehouse management for C-parts: Time-consuming inventory determinations, reordering and intermediate storage at the customer’s premises are eliminated. Fluctuations and peak requirements are detected at an early stage.
Complete, transparent digitalization of ordering and delivery processes as well as seamless supply to the exact point of need and the individual assembly station.
After the weight has fallen below a defined value, a message is automatically generated to Würth Industrie Service, an order is triggered and thus a subsequent delivery is initiated.
Compared to conventional storage solutions, the iSCALE system requires only half the shelf depth previously occupied: optimal for ideal use of space.
